The Inlet Snowmobile Trail Department is responsible for grooming and maintenance of the Town of Inlet trail system and the Moose River Recreation Area. The department has three snowmobile trail groomers in its fleet. The oldest is a 1999 Pisten Bully PB100 that drags an 18-08 Mogul Master drag. Next is a 2004 New Holland TS115A converted into a groomer with a Sur-Trac drag. The latest addition is a 2009 Pisten Bully PB100, and that machine drags an 18-08 drag.
In the off season we get out and repair the worst spots on the trail by doing ditching and brushing. We widen the trails wherever we can.
The landowners are very gracious for allowing us to use their land to run our trails, and we are very respectful of their property and always ask permission before doing any kind of work on the trails. If it were not for them, our trails would not be what they are today. Thank you!!
